The Journey Fellowship

The Journey Fellowship

A Chinese speaking church launched at the Fusion Center in 2025. As the fellowship takes its next step, help provide a secure location with greater accessibility.

Project goal: $20,000

Help provide a new home for The Journey Fellowship

More room to grow, more lives to reach.

$20,000 Goal

The Journey Fellowship began in 2025 with just a few families gathering at the Fusion Center. Since then, it has grown into a church of around 80 believers, with cell groups and an established leadership team.

A location of its own would provide greater security and accessibility for this Chinese-speaking church. Your partnership can help meet the practical needs of that move.

Making room for the next generation

This project supports a move from the Fusion Center to a location located in the heart of the Chinese community of Chiang Mai.

Did you know?

The Journey Fellowship is a church plant of new believers. Over 95% of everyone attending the church was won to Christ by WRG missionaries within the last couple of years.

This church is impacting an entire community. Cell groups are already multiplying, and church members who previously were not even Christian are now leading others to Christ.

Greater Access

The Journey Fellowship has outgrown the Fusion Center. Your partnership will help the church move into Chiang Mai’s Chinese community, creating room for ministry and greater gospel access for people hungry to hear about Jesus.

You have questions

About The Journey Fellowship project

Your support will help equip The Journey Fellowship’s new location by covering:

1. A sound system, sound booth, lighting, and stage equipment for worship gatherings.

2. Chairs for the congregation.

3. Sunday school classroom equipment for children’s ministry.

4. The first and last months’ rent, required when signing the lease.

This project describes a planned move, not a completed relocation. The Journey Fellowship has outgrown its space at the Fusion Center, where members currently drive 20 minutes to gather for worship. The church is planning to move to a rental location within Chiang Mai’s Chinese community, bringing the fellowship closer to the people it serves. A dedicated space would make gatherings more accessible and give the church room to expand its activities and ministries.

Pray for the fellowship and the search for a suitable location. If you would like to give, contact our team to confirm how to designate your gift for The Journey Fellowship. The giving section uses our shared Access Campaign form rather than a separate project-specific checkout.

The new location would allow The Journey Fellowship to expand beyond a single Sunday morning service, creating room for ministry throughout the week:

- Evening services and worship events
- Weekly prayer meetings
- Community gatherings and cell group meetings
- Men’s and women’s Bible studies
- English as a second language classes
- Youth group meetings

A location in the heart of Chiang Mai’s Chinese community would also provide:

- Bring worship and fellowship closer to where people live. - Welcome more people to hear the gospel and grow in their faith throughout the week. - Offer a more private setting for believers who may face persecution from their home country for practicing their faith.

Send someone to the unreached

Indigenous missionaries are the key to reaching Thailand's spiritually poorest communities. They speak the language, know the culture, and stay for the long haul.

Your monthly gift fully supports a local Thai or Asian missionary — covering their living costs and freeing them to give their whole lives to the mission.
