The need

Unreached communities need local witnesses

Thailand remains one of the least reached nations in the world, and the need for more gospel workers is urgent. As Within Reach Global continues expanding its outreach among students, villages, and unreached communities, the demand for trusted local leaders keeps growing.

Many Thai believers have a heart for ministry but lack the financial support needed to serve full-time. Without local missionaries on the ground, gospel access remains limited in many of the places where Christ is least known.

Raising up messengers from within

Within Reach Global identifies, equips, and supports local missionaries who are called to bring the gospel to their own people. By removing financial barriers and providing training, mentorship, and ministry opportunities, the ministry helps indigenous leaders step into long-term evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.

Because local missionaries already understand the language, culture, and spiritual realities of the communities they serve, they are uniquely positioned to carry the gospel with credibility, clarity, and lasting impact.

Local missionaries are at the center of gospel expansion across Thailand and beyond. They lead outreach in villages and cities, disciple new believers, serve in student ministry, strengthen churches, and help carry the gospel into communities where outsiders often have little access.

Their impact extends far beyond a single ministry role. By raising up indigenous leaders, Within Reach Global helps build a long-term, locally rooted gospel presence that can continue multiplying for years to come—through churches planted, disciples made, and unreached communities engaged with the hope of Christ.

Local missionaries often have the greatest long-term potential for gospel impact because they already know the language, understand the culture, and can build trust within their own communities. They are able to share Christ in ways that feel natural, contextual, and sustainable over time.

Within Reach Global helps identify, train, mentor, and financially support local missionaries serving among unreached communities in Thailand. This support allows them to focus on evangelism, discipleship, church planting, translation, student ministry, and other strategic areas of gospel work.

Local missionaries serve in a wide range of roles, including student outreach, rural evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, church planting, translation, and Business as Mission (BAM) initiatives. Their work helps extend gospel access in both urban and rural settings across Thailand, Myanmar, China, and beyond.

Foreign missionaries play an important role, but local missionaries often have greater long-term access, cultural understanding, and sustainability within the communities they serve. They are essential to building a gospel movement that is rooted in the local church and led by believers from within the culture.

This project helps multiply gospel workers among people who have little or no access to Jesus. By empowering indigenous missionaries to reach their own communities, Within Reach Global is helping establish churches, disciple believers, and expand gospel witness in one of the least-reached parts of the world.

Supporting local missionaries strengthens a sustainable model of ministry that can continue long after outside teams leave. It builds local leadership, expands gospel access, and helps create a multiplying movement of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting across Thailand, China, Myanmar, and beyond.
