Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Of course you’ve heard that before, right? But just the other night we were thinking about a verse in Matthew that not many people remember.
Matthew 21:2-3
“…Jesus sent His two disciples, saying to them, ‘Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, “The Lord has need of them,” and immediately he will send them.’ “
The Lord has need of whatever is in your hand. You see, God is waiting at the other end of your obedience. One of the most powerful gifts He gave to us is the gift of free will, and when you choose God’s way over any other way, He will always honor your obedience.
We have been so incredibly blessed by the generosity of all of you who support this ministry prayerfully and financially. You have given money, housing, iPhones, toys, gifts, computers and cars. Some of you have sold your property and housing to sow into reaching unreached people groups. Others have given far beyond your ten percent tithe so that we might effectively reach the lost in the 10/40 Window.
You have heard the words of Jesus: “The Lord has need of them,” and your response has transformed lives from now and into eternity. How? Let us tell you some of the ways.
- Over 50 tribal children at The Edge have heard of Jesus for the first time.
- Hundreds of university students are making decisions to follow Christ through English Corners at The Hub.
- Bamboo church plants have more than quadrupled in church attendance and membership.
- Ako Ay Pilipino Movement has inspired thousands of Filipinos with an understanding of their identity and deep desire to pursue their God-given destiny.
- Once home to a completely unreached tribe, Pilot center is now the trailblazer for other church plants, as the tribal people group are stepping up to reach their own people.
- We are seeing brand new doors of opportunity as we dream up creative ways of supernatural ministry in the 26 Tribes region.
We regularly pray for those of you who give financially to Within Reach Global. We pray the Abrahamic covenant over you, that you would be blessed to be a blessing. We believe that God’s economy is much different than the world’s economy. Global economic crisis or not, as you’re faithful to use what is in your hand for the kingdom of God, He will certainly see your heart and remember your giving. When you give, you get. That’s a simple law of the kingdom.
We are excited to hear your stories of being blessed immensely as you give toward God’s agenda. And we are inspired by your generosity. We at Within Reach Global commit to march forward as a torch in the darkness, sharing the light of Jesus. We cannot do this without you. Thank you so much for hearing the call of God, and stepping in to fill the need.
