The Hub is our student center in China, using English Corners and conversation as a means of reaching college students. We have seen over 300 students come through our doors, hear of Jesus for the very first time, and many have made decisions to follow Christ. With the spiritual hunger in China today, we are seeing countless lives changed by the power of the gospel.
They say 30,000 people are coming to Christ every day in China. We are honored to be a small part of the big thing that God is doing in the most populous nation in the world.
The Hub center is a tiny 800 square foot rented apartment, complete with cool wall murals on the 21st floor overlooking four universities in the vicinity. Twice a week, we host English Corners, bi-weekly Discipleship Dinners, where we help students in their new Christian walk, then host our underground Church on Sundays.

Every week we see over 50 Chinese and tribal students join us in this small space, but recently we have seen a massive growth in the number of students who attend.
“Last Friday was a remarkable gathering in the Hub,” our Filipino missionaries recently informed us. “For the very first time, there were over 60 people in The Hub! We had deep discussions about God, life and culture, and we made many new Chinese friends. God is drawing more and more young people to The Hub!”
But here is the issue: The Hub rent is expiring in April 2012, and after three years of ongoing ministry, the landlord is kicking us out. We need to find another place to rent and continue reaching China’s future leaders.

Right now we are paying $260 per month, but prices are rising. We need a bigger space for the growing number of students. It will cost approximately $400 per month for a new center. In China, you must pay rent for one year in advance, which means that we need a minimum of $4,800 by April, 2012!
“We love seeing our students growing deeper in their faith and knowledge of God,” our Filipino missionaries said. “We cannot bear the thought of losing them because we do not have the space to hold them.”
Will you help us raise the funds that we need to impact a whole generation on the cusp of greatness? Why not gather a group of friends, your church or small group to donate to this worthy cause. At the rate of China’s present development, we need to impart Christian morals to young people before it’s too late. Let’s not miss this opportunity.
Will you help The Hub at Within Reach Global? How can we say no? Thousands of lives are waiting in the balance, and we cannot raise up passionate Christ-followers without you.
We appreciate your prayers and financial support! May God richly bless you as you sow your seeds into the fertile soil of China’s hungry youth.
“These students are coming to Christ faster than ever before. Let’s be God’s conduit of continued blessing to a generation in waiting.”
