Our staff and volunteers are united by one compelling mission: to give gospel access to the unreached—places where the message of Jesus Christ has never taken root and where the hope of the Gospel remains absent. Fueled by compassion and obedience to the Great Commission, our international team in Chiang Mai, Thailand, serves through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, community development, and leadership training.
For security purposes, our teams in China and Myanmar are not mentioned on this page.
Village Outreach
We travel into rural and tribal villages where access to the Gospel is rare or nonexistent, presenting the message of Jesus through compassion ministries, evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training. This grassroots ministry breaks spiritual isolation, establishes trusting relationships, and creates opportunities for the emergence of new disciples and indigenous leaders.

Director of Development
Stephen Briggs serves as Director of Development for Within Reach Global, bringing a lifelong passion for missions and a heart for seeing the Gospel carried to the unreached. His calling to global missions began as a teenager during a formative season in Thailand, an experience that shaped the direction of his life and ministry. Over the years, Stephen has served at the intersection of ministry, leadership, and public service, gaining experience in government and public leadership that strengthened his ability to build trust, steward resources, and navigate complex environments with clarity and integrity. Today, he brings those strengths to Within Reach Global, focusing on building meaningful relationships and encouraging supporters through the stories of what God is doing in Southeast Asia.
Stephen has been married to Lorrie for 15 years, and together they are raising their daughter, Madison. Family is an important part of Stephen’s life, and he values the role that faith, curiosity, and creativity play in shaping the next generation. Madison enjoys horses and rides weekly, and their family life keeps Stephen grounded, grateful, and connected to the people behind the mission. As Director of Development, Stephen is passionate about walking alongside supporters as part of the larger Within Reach Global family, helping them stay connected to the impact of their prayers and generosity.
