The unreached are not simply underserved.
They are often surrounded by little gospel presence, few churches, and almost no one proclaiming the name of Jesus. That is why we focus on the 10/40 Window, where the need is greatest and the mission remains unfinished.
The Church is called to finish what Jesus started, but millions of people still have little or no chance to hear the gospel.
Until every people group has access to the good news, our mission is not complete.
We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to hear the message of Christ, and we believe that they are within reach.
The unreached, by the numbers
One third of the world still waits to hear the gospel for the very first time.
Where the gospel is not known.
The 10/40 Window is a region spanning North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator. It contains the largest concentration of unreached people groups in the world.
Too few are going where the gospel is least known.
Most missionaries are sent to parts of the world where the Church is already established and the name of Jesus is known. Meanwhile, only a small number are serving among the unreached people groups of the 10/40 Window, where gospel access remains scarce.
The Church already has the resources to fulfill the Great Commission, yet the unreached are still too often overlooked. As a result, millions remain without a clear witness of the gospel or a meaningful opportunity to hear the name of Jesus.
We equip local believers to reach the unreached.
The most strategic messengers of the gospel are often those already rooted in the community—people who know the language, understand the culture, and are positioned to make a lasting impact.
Since 1998, Within Reach Global has focused on training and sending indigenous missionaries, planting churches, and establishing outreach centers so the gospel can take root, multiply, and continue advancing long after outside teams or missionaries have left.
The unreached are within reach.
You can be part of bringing the gospel to people who have never heard it. Whether you go, give, or pray, there's a place for you.
