Thousands of students with little gospel access

The need

Another campus still needs a gospel witness

Thousands of Thai university students spend some of the most formative years of their lives on campus with a limited understanding of the gospel. While many are open to community, spiritual conversation, and meaningful relationships, few Christian student centers exist near Thai universities to engage them consistently with the message of Jesus.

After seeing the first Fusion Center become a strategic gospel presence near Chiang Mai University, the need became clear: another campus outreach center was needed to expand gospel access to a new student population in northern Thailand.

The idea

A second beachhead for student outreach

Fusion Center 2 establishes a second student center at the entrance of another university, creating a new gospel beachhead among Thai college students. Built around a Business as Mission (BAM) model, the center uses Red Panda Coffee, a free game room, language training, Alpha Courses, and special events to create natural pathways for evangelism, discipleship, and long-term relationship building.

The impact

From campus ministry to national influence

Fusion Center 2 expands Within Reach Global’s ability to engage students with the gospel beyond the first campus location. By planting a second student outreach center, the ministry creates new opportunities for Thai students to hear the name of Jesus, experience Christian community, and begin a journey of discipleship in a setting designed for them.

What begins at one campus can ripple outward through hometowns, future careers, and communities across Thailand as students carry the hope of Christ beyond Chiang Mai.

You have questions

Everything you need to know

After seeing the impact of the first Fusion Center near Chiang Mai University, Within Reach Global identified a clear opportunity to reach another major student population on another campus. A second location allows the ministry to expand gospel access, deepen student outreach, and establish a stronger presence among Thai university students in Chiang Mai.

Fusion Center 2 is designed to serve Thai college students, especially those connected to other universities and surrounding campuses. Many come from Buddhist backgrounds and have had little meaningful exposure to the gospel, making this a strategic opportunity for evangelism, discipleship, and long-term ministry relationships.

Fusion Center 2 functions as a student-centered outreach hub rather than a one-time event or traditional church setting. Through coffee, community spaces, special events, discipleship environments, and relational evangelism, it creates natural and ongoing opportunities for students to encounter Jesus in a familiar, welcoming environment.

Fusion Center 2 uses Red Panda Coffee and related student-centered services as part of a Business as Mission model. This creates a sustainable environment where ministry and business work together—drawing students into the center while helping support long-term outreach, discipleship, and church partnership.

Fusion Center 2 brings gospel access to a student population that may otherwise spend their university years without ever hearing a clear presentation of Jesus. By reaching Thai students during a formative season of life and connecting them to ongoing discipleship and local church community, the project helps extend gospel witness in one of Southeast Asia’s least-reached regions.

Fusion Center 2 works in partnership with local churches and ministry partners in Chiang Mai to ensure that outreach leads to discipleship, community, and long-term spiritual growth. The goal is not only to engage students with the gospel, but to help them become rooted in the local church and equipped for lasting Kingdom impact.

Send someone to the unreached

Indigenous missionaries are the key to reaching Thailand's spiritually poorest communities. They speak the language, know the culture, and stay for the long haul.

Your monthly gift fully supports a local Thai or Asian missionary — covering their living costs and freeing them to give their whole lives to the mission.

$650/ month fully supports one missionary

For more than two decades, Within Reach Global has combatted gospel poverty among the unreached — over 111,500 gospel encounters, 84 churches planted, and a growing movement of locally-led missionaries.
