Liu Zhenmei, Sponsorship ID: CH101
Urban/rural church planting & missions mobilization in China.
Liu Zhenmei epitomizes the positive aspect of the Chinese phrase that “women are tigers”. Energetic, eager, and wildly passionate about unreached people groups, Liu Zhenmei has excelled at connecting local Chinese churches to the Great Commission heart of God.
Liu Zhenmei and her husband are catalysts for unity in China, mobilizing a generation to tackle the final frontier of missions among least reached tribes. They reside with their 2 children in the urban context and oversee the underground church plant at The Hub outreach center.
They are interwoven together with a network of church planters, evangelists, and local Christian leaders who themselves represent numerous ethnic tribes in China. Their heart and passion are to spark Kingdom movements among the remaining unreached people groups in Southwest China.
Liu Zhenmei has been instrumental in expanding The Edge outreach center. During her time on the China/Myanmar border, she led over 300 children to Jesus and raised them as fiery Christian witnesses in the face of unbridled persecution, severe drug-addiction, and rampant poverty. These young children, ages 7 to 15, became Gospel firebrands, prophesying over strangers, interceding for family members, and preaching the message of God’s grace and glory in a region where it was not previously known.
Liu Zhenmei and her husband represent a young generation of local Chinese missionaries who are awakening their nation to the knowledge of a Savior. They lead an underground church, teach worship classes, host underground leadership trainings, and travel to rural unreached villages.
