Filipina Girl Needs Medical Care For Juvenile Epilepsy

Within Reach Global

Raein Gabrielle is one of the sweetest little 8 year old Filipina girls you will ever meet. One of the smartest students in her school, she is always at the top of her class. But last year she had a sudden series of epileptic seizures with unknown cause. The doctors have termed her case “Juvenile Epilepsy.”

Raein’s has had multiple seizures over the last year. Her response has slowed noticeably, but we are praying for a full recovery.

Her parents have been struggling to provide for her as the medical bills keep adding up. With the Philippines’ struggling economy, they are heartbroken that they are unable to pay for her medical needs.

That’s why we want to help Raein and her family with these medical needs. It is an overwhelming financial position that they are in now, but we felt that as we share this need, someone is bound to jump on board to foot the whole bill. They feel stuck, but God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. So here’s our prayer: “God, just sell some cows and give us the money to help Raein!”

The medicine she requires is $160 per month. Here’s the breakdown:

Tegretol (anti-convulsant)
Appetens (for anorexia in underweight patients)
Ceelin vitamin C (for her severe gingivitis)
Vitamin B complex (for her bones)

In October, Raein is scheduled for an MRI and special procedure that will cost $320, a small price to pay to create life transformation for Raein Gabrielle and her family.
