We have always believed in indigenous missions, that is, raising up local Christians to lead church plants and evangelistic efforts in their own country among their own communities and people groups.
That’s why we host regular underground leadership training seminars with our partner pastors from around the world.
We believe in
empowering local Christian leaders,
equipping them with relevant teaching,
and inspiring them to multiply their efforts through cell group discipleship.
Right now, our Filipino partner pastor is training nationwide Church leaders on “The 8 Habits of Highly Effective Cell Group Leaders.”
Over 30 Christian leaders are attending.
There is a quiet passion in the room. New dreams and strategies are being formed in their hearts and minds. They look outside the window, watching buses and taxis and electric bikes swerve through the populated alleys. And they pray that God would bring his salvation to hungry Chinese hearts.
“I am very encouraged by this training!” one leader told us. “This will help propel our ministry outreach to impact thousands of people in our hometown!”
We pray that the heart of Within Reach Global—to honor God by reaching unreached people groups—will transfer to the Chinese Church, inspiring more locals to intentionally target the unreached people groups in their country with the gospel of Jesus.
